Core platform · Production

The foundation. Every claim, from first notice to final settlement.

MSOFT is our flagship claims platform for the full property & casualty book - Workers' Comp, auto, general liability, property, and beyond - with configurable workflows, role-based access, reserves, payments, documents, letters, and audit trails. Two decades of production use across risk pools, carriers, TPAs, and self-insured employers.

MSOFT isn't a starter kit. It's the same platform that examiners at risk pools and TPAs have run their book on for years, modernized onto ASP.NET Core 8 with a single-service data layer (MsoftDataService) that every module routes through. New code and legacy Msoftv1 integrations coexist without a rip-and-replace.

The write path is stored procedures. Every mutation is logged. Every letter template, business rule, and reserve schedule is configurable per customer - no code deploys to change how a particular customer wants their diary sequenced.

Capabilities

  • Full claim lifecycle

Intake through settlement with configurable status tracking, batch operations, and per-customer workflow rules.

  • Reserves & payments

Reserve schedules, payment run generation, batch export, W-9 / 1099 tracking, and reconciliation.

  • Document management

PDF stamping and watermarking via Neevia PDFstamp, OCR fallback via Tesseract, long-term archival.

  • Letters & templates

Merge-field letter templates with per-customer variants. Generated PDFs archive back to the claim.

  • Reports & dashboards

Claim, financial, and compliance reports. Data flows to MSOFTAdhoc for reviewer-defined queries.

  • Multi-tenant + audit

Customer-scoped tenancy. Every change is traceable to a user, a source, and a timestamp.

  • CA statutory reviews (IBR / IMR)

Built-in California Independent Bill Review and Independent Medical Review case tracking — filing-window countdowns from the Second Bill Review and UR decision dates, $195 IBR and $375 / $125 IMR fee reconciliation, authorized-rep capture for the injured worker, and a deadlines-due dashboard so nothing lapses.

The same platform, running continuously since 1994. Modernized, not rewritten.

Twenty years of adjuster habits, reserve conventions, and letter templates aren't things you throw out. MSOFT's modular architecture lets legacy Msoftv1 integrations run alongside modern ASP.NET Core 8 code, so operations don't stop for a rewrite.

Who runs on it

Built for the desk, not the demo.
